Kyoto’s Obanzai

Kyoto is famous for “Obanzai”. Please enjoy the traditional taste of Kyoto’s home cooking.

Please try our traditional pickles at our hotel.

Rolled egg with eel

Unagi (eel), which is a perfect combination with egg, is rolled with a fluffy egg in a broth.

Namikawa Shoten’s cold yakko

Kyoto is also famous for its tofu. We have prepared a special cold tofu from “Namikawa Shoten”, a long-established tofu company in Kyoto.

Grilled young chicken with saikyo miso

Saikyo Miso-zuke is a traditional Kyoto dish in which fish or meat fillets are marinated in a miso broth made by adding mirin (sweet cooking sake) and sake, resulting in a tender fish.

Uji green tea buckwheat noodle and tempura

Matcha soba noodles based on matcha green tea, a specialty of Uji, Kyoto. Enjoy it with tempura, deep-fried seasonal vegetables and other ingredients.

Kyoto is famous for its yuba. Please try our Yuba steamed meat dumpling, a collaboration of Yuba and steamed meat dumpling.

Soba noodles with mustard

Mustard Soba is a B gourmet dish of Kyoto. Mix the mustard and serve over rice noodles with hapohsai (Chinese cabbage).

We have newly set up a Chinese Corner. We have prepared “Yuba Shumai” and “Mustard Soba”, a B gourmet dish of Kyoto.

We serve rice cooked with locally grown rice from Kyoto. We also offer a wide selection of soups.
