About access to the hotel
Q: Where is the nearest station?
A: If you are coming by the Kintetsu train, subway or JR, please go left at the Hachijo East Exit of Kyoto Station, proceed along the elevated Shinkansen, cross the Takeda Hachijo intersection and after the third signal (Hachijo Kawaramachi intersection), go to the right. The building with 6 floors is the hotel.

From Kansai Airport, take the JR “Haruka” and after 75 minutes, you will arrive at Kyoto station platform 30. Please go to the right. Take the Hachijo East Exit of Kyoto Station, proceed along the elevated Shinkansen, cross the Takeda Hachijo intersection and after the third signal (Hachijo Kawaramachi intersection), go to the right. The building with 6 floors is the hotel. Adult 2980 yen.
From Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport), it takes about 60 minutes by bus to Kyoto Station South Gate. After getting off, the JR Kyoto Station Hachijo East Exit will be in front of you, so proceed along the elevated Shinkansen on your right side, cross the Takeda Hachijo intersection and after the third signal (Hachijo Kawaramachi intersection), go to the right. The building with 6 floors is the hotel. Adult 1,280 yen, children 640 yen.
Q: Is there a parking lot?
A: We are sorry but there is no parking lot in the hotel. We will lead you to the nearby coin parking lot. Please understand that the price will vary depending on the parking lot. Please contact the hotel for more details.

Q: When will I make the payment?
A: You could pay at the hotel during check-in.
Additionnal charges (phone, cleaning, etc.) that occur during the stay have to be paid upon check-out.

A: Yes, luggage storage in advance is available.

A: Unfortunately, we can not issue receipts for online payment with credit card.
Please check directly on the site you reserved. There is a page that explained how to get a receipt. If you really need a receipt, please make the payment directly at the hotel.
Q: Is there a Takkyubin service?
A: Service by Kuroneko Yamato is available.
Please make the advance payment / cash on delivery documents at the front desk.
Please note that shipping at check-out time is also crowded, so please come as soon as your scheduled is decided. We could accept it even the day before.
Q: Is there a newspaper service?
A: We have newspapers available (Nikkei, Asahi, Kyoto, Yomiuri, Japan Times) for reading in the lobby. Please feel free to read them.
Q: Can I get a best rate for booking on official website?
A: Yes, you can have a best rate on our homepage. Hotel Hokke Club Group guarantees the lowest price on the homepage.

Q: Can I talk to someone who are not staying at the hotel in the room?
A: For security purposes, non-hotel guests are not allowed to enter the hotel room, please kindly meet in the lobby. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

A: Free Wi-Fi is available in the guest room and the lobby. LAN cables are available in the guest room.

Q: Do you have any rental items?
A: The following items could be rent at the front desk.
Please note that they are limited in numbers.
Trouser presser (in the elevator hall on each floor), iron, desk lamp, nail clipper, thermometer, sewing set, wine opener, wine glass, blanket, umbrella, disposable chopsticks, plate, etc.
Q: Is there massage service available?
A: Massage service is available (4320 yen for 40 minutes).
Male and female massagers are available so please specify when making the reservation.
Q: Do you have a cleaning service?
A: Cleaning service is available at the front desk (charged).
If you could bring your items at the reception by 10:00 in the morning, we will hand it over by 18:00 in the evening.

About the public bath

Q: Is there a public bath?
A: Artificial hot spring「Quasi-Natural」Komeiseki Onsen® [Hannari no Yu] is available for both men and women on 2F.
Operating hours are from 16:00 to 2:00 and 6:00 to 10:00.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. Also, please understand that tattoos are prohibited in the public bath. Thanks for your understanding.
The following amenities are provided on the washbasin of the changing room
for women: make-up remover, cleansing foam, lotion, milky lotion, hand soap.
for men: hair liquid, hair tonic, lotion, milk, hand soap
Also, there are cotton, shower cap, hair rubber provided only in the female baths.
Please feel free to use it.
Q: Is there a vending machine?
A: Yes, there are vending machines selling soft drinks and alcohol on 1F, 2F and 5F.
A microwave and an ice machine are also available on 2F and 5F.
Q: Is there a coin laundry?
A: There is a coin-operated laundry corner on 2 F in the male and female baths.
There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers available. Detergent is automatically added.
About the breakfast
Q: What kind of breakfast do you provide?
A: We provide Japanese and Western style breakfast buffet using local ingredients.
Please come with your breakfast ticket during the opening hours during 6:30-10:00 (Please come before 9:30).

Q: Can we have dinner in the hotel?
A: Our restaurant is only open for breakfast.
Our front staff could recommend you some places for dinner, please feel free to ask them anytime.
Q: Can we have lunch in the hotel?
A: Unfortunately, we do not provide lunch and dinner. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A: There is a Seven Eleven located about 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

A: We have information magazines about sightseeing spots and pamphlets of restaurants near the PC / Library corner on 1F, so please feel free to use it.

About Hokke Club Group
Q: When did Hotel Hokke Club open?
A: The first hotel which is in front of Kyoto station opened in 1920. The concept of ‘one group one room’ is common nowadays. However, it was a creative idea for ideal hotel to provide a safe environment at that moment. As a business hotel pioneer, we receive compliments from businessmen, became popular for ladies, groups and families. Thanks to everyone’s support, we are going to have 100th anniversary in 2020.

Q: How do I get to the hotel?
A: There are 12 Hotel Hokke Club locations across the country.
From the north, Sapporo, Hakodate, Sendai, Nagaoka, Fujisawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Oita, and Kagoshima.
There are five Almont hotels. We have two stores in Sendai City, Tokyo’s Taito Ward (Asakusa), Kyoto City, and Naha City.
There are two Almont Inn locations. We are located in Tokyo’s Chuo Ward (Nihonbashi) and Fujisawa City.

Q: Is Almont Hotel under Hokke Club group?
A: Yes, Almont Hotel is under Hokke Club group. Almont Hotel Kyoto opened in December, 2012. In April 2020, Hotel Hokke Club Asakusa, Hotel Hokke Inn Tokyo Nihonbashi, Hotel Hokke Club Naha-Shintoshin rebranded as Almont Hotel Asakusa, Almont Inn Nihonbashi, and Almont Hotel Naha-Omoromachi.
