The land of Chikamatsu Monzaemon’s “The Love Suicides at Sonezaki”

Based on a actual double suicide that occurred within the the boundaries of our shrine in 1703, Chikamastu Monzaemon wrote a puppet show called “Sonezaki Shinju (Double Suicide). In tribute to the heroine “Ohatsu” the shrine became widely known as the “Ohatsu Tenjin”.

Japanese-style savory pancake with various ingredients as pork, squid and seafood.

What makes this restaurant special is they use selected ingredients such as house blend flour, brand eggs, original source. The famous Yukari-yaki is cooked with shrimps, scallops, squid, pork loin and konjac which is made from the starch of the devil’s-tongue plant and has a jelly-like consistency. It’s delicious and made us want to eat it again. This long-established restaurant will not make you disappointed.

Nakanoshima park is an oasis in the heart of Osaka between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers. The total length is 1.5km and the park area is 10.6 hectares, and within this area remain many retro buildings such as the Osaka Public Hall opened in 1918 and the Osaka Library (now Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library).

A 2.6-kilometer line of small shops make up this roofed shopping street, which runs from Tenjinbashi 1 chome to 7 chome, nearly as far as the distance between three subway stations. The street, whose high vaulted roof makes for a feeling of great spaciousness, is Japan’s longest shopping street. Numerous movie theaters and game centers will be found along it, all of them frequented by familiar old faces; this is definitely a place for everyday people. There are events held on the street almost every day.

One of Japan’s largest department stores. We introduce “Living Theater” as the store concept and living and cultural information on each floor. Hanshin Umeda Main Store

Hanshin Department Store is located in Umeda, Osaka. On the 8th Floor is HANSHIN Tigers Shop which sells about 1,000 different items of the HANSHIN Tigers baseball team.
